Fitness Diary 2017 19th April 2017

Hello and welcome to a new blog. It feels like it has been ages since I wrote a post on this site. I have been limited as technology decides to fail me, and have the choice of using the computers at the library or my mums.

Damn laptops and modern technoloy! It can be a really pain the bum at times.

Any how, since my last post my fitness has picked up a notch. I decided that I was gonna use my Wednesdays as from last week going to the gym, or join a fitness class. I have now booked sessions at a Gym group called PureGym, which you can do for £6.99 per week, so I have decided to do that option, as I didn’t realise if you pay £13.99 for 3 sessions, you have to use these 3 slots consectively, so I turned up put in my pin realising I couldn’t get in, GREAT, and so have now opted to pay £6.99 per session per week, then I am not tied to any real contract. Ahh bless…

Yes I have my own gym indoors, but I felt it was time to get back to working out in the gym surrounding myself with other people who are doing the same. It can be a lonely world being a housewife and a parent, so feels good to have somewhere to go; in some funny way it feels more motivating when seeing other people workout, and also my summer house which has ourfitness equipment can feel like a sauna or can be freezing cold.

I know I have to workout, not having to worry or call my hubby because I have a spider near me. I now workout indoors on a Sunday morning as I have this day off and work Friday’s instead. Good times.

The treadmills they have at the gym I am using, have a programme to do a 5KM, mixing walking, jogging, running and almost sprinting pace. To begin with today I did 5 minutes on the rowing machine, then treadmill doing a 5KM so over an hour, then weights such as chest press, lap downs and pull downs, then finishing of with the bike doing Interval training for 30 minutes.

It does feel so good to be back at the gym, the PureGyms are what they say they are a gym, low cost memberships and it is all workout equipment, with classes, but no swimming pool or any extra perks. After my workout I then go on to have an early lunch then do some work in my local library. Working on my blogs and my book.
