Fitness Diary 2018- Walking back to fitness

Every time I see family or friends I often get asked if I am still running still, and for the time being I have put that on hold, I just can’t seemed to find the spark I had for running at the moment, so for me walking in the second best thing.

I make sure I walk Henry to nursery and back, and not take the bus, and last Saturday my husband and I, took my son on a walk along the Southbank in London.

I think since my husband drives I have become a bit lazy, but I am slowly but surely walking myself back to fitness. I will do weights, balancing, core and floor workouts in between, my walking.

Walking so therapeutic, and really helps balance the mind.

I am going to try my hardest and do longer walks after I drop my son at nursery or soon will be school, and I will walk to my new job I am starting too.

What I love about walking is that you can almost do it anywhere and as long as you got comfortable clothing and shoes, you can be off and away until you can walk no more.

Do you like walking? What’s your favourite exercise?

I love to hear from you.

Many thanks for reading,
