My Books

Aswell as writing blogs I have written books too. I share my experience of becoming a parent for the first time, I written a novel and a biography about my life as a child and teenager growing up in Peabody Estate in Hammersmith.

The parenting adventures pregnancy to the first nine months coverThis is my very first book about my experience of becoming a parent for the first time, from when I was pregnant to the first nine months.

I wanted to be as honest as possible as I did worry and was very emotional throughout the whole experience. My son was born premature at 31 weeks and it was very traumatic at the time, but now I can look back and laugh at many of the stuff that happened, and would not change it for the world.

This book I have taken down from publishing at the moment as I am currently updating the book and adding new content, but once it is back and published again I will let you all know.

Above is my second edition to The Parenting Adventures, sharing some more information about being a parent for the first time, from when my son was a baby to becoming a toddler.

There are tips on development, having a routine, getting back to work and taking time out from parenting, plus other subjects, which I hope you will find useful.

As parents we can often feel alone, but this books message is you are never alone and there always someone out there, that can help and support you.

My first novel about a young girl called Claire, who is bullied by her so-called bestfriend, develops an eating disorder and her mums is injured in a car crash. Her  mum’s bestfriend takes her in and tries to look after her, but ends up with some bad news of her own.

My biography living as a kid and teenager in Peabody Estate in Hammersmith, London. Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, where I spent most of my life in those days has changed so much, and I met so many wonderful people through those times. Going on holiday’s with my dad’s friends  and their families, experiencing the 80’s and 90’s and the world of sport such as football and rugby league.

There were some hard times, but some good times aswell, and it is all there in the book, and I hope in some way it brings back memories for you aswell.
